The Next Makaveli?

Not gonna lie, this topic might be a bit of stretch... One of the best rappers of  this generation, Tupac Shakur, who supposedly passed on September 13, died with his name legally being "Makaveli". Shakur did do some prison time in his life, and while in prison he read Machiavelli's "The Prince" A book on how to be a good ruler of your kingdom. After Shakur was released from prison was when he changed his name and hints of Machaiavelli started to show up in his music. In Shakur's song "Blasphemy" There is a line that goes "Know, whatever you do people are going to hate you" in chapter 19 of The Prince Machaiavelli states "He is contemptible to be considered fickle, frivolous, effeminate, mean-spirited, and irresolute." I believe that Machiavaelli's statement and Makaveli's statements are quite similar to each other, but theres more. Another Tupac lyric goes "I chose my thugs, just me and my thugz running these streets" (Yes, He did spell thugs with a Z) and of Machavaevelli's 10 most important rules, #5 was to "Select advisors that you want to rule your kingdoms" Now for the most direct connection between Makaveli and Machavelli. Niccolo Machavelli had came up the tactic of faking your own death to fool your enemies, and some people do believe that he did fake his own death back in his time. When Shakur was supposedly shot on Septemeber 13, there was never an autopsy or a funeral for him and many people believe he is still alive. But an even more intriguing fact about the faking of theese deaths was that Machavaelli faked his at the age of 25 and returned at the age of 43, Shakur also "died" at the age of 25.Whens his 43rd birthday? June 16th, 2014.
A possible Tupac sighting in 2008
Only time will tell if Tupac truly followed in the footsteps of Machavaelli. Also if you would more info on Tupacs "faked" death google "Makaveli The Don Killuminati The 7 day theroy" I'm sure you'll find some interesting info.

  1. I thought your blog post was really interesting! It's so weird to think that someone would go as far as to change their name and fake their death to be like Machiavelli. Your post got me wanting to know more so I looked up Makaveli on Wikipedia, and it will be interesting to see if he actually does reappear this year. The only thing I wish you had changed was maybe to be a bit clearer as to who you were talking about. I kept getting confused on who was who. Overall, great post!

  2. I found your blog rather interesting, i never thought that Tupac and Machiavelli could be related. I find it cool how you made a bunch of points on how they are similar. I wonder if Tupac will come back on his birthday. I also liked how you offered more details of the theory of Tupac being alive.

  3. This was a very interesting connection between one of the rappers of all time and someone who lived so long ago that he probably didn't even know what rap music was. You gave nice supporting details about how the two were similar. I enjoyed looking up the google search you provided and found some cool info.

  4. Your post was very interesting. It was cool to hear about class references in the pop culture world. I believe that there was another Tupac lookalike sighting recently at the Celtics. Your blog had a nice conversational tone/flow.

  5. Believe it or not, there are a lot of references or History in the arts. I found it cool how he changed his name to a different spelling
